【摘要】:Thispracticeisforusebydesignersandspecifiers,regulatoryagencies,owners,andinspectionorganizationswhoareinvolvedintherehabilitationofnon-pressuresewersandconduits.Modificationsmayberequiredforspecificjobconditions.1.1Thispracticedescribestheproceduresfortherehabilitationofsewerlinesandconduitsforexistingpipelines6to180in.indiameterbytheinsertionofamachine-madefield-fabricatedspiralwoundlinerpipeintotheexistingpipelineusingawindingmachinewhichremainsstationaryintheinsertionpitor,alternatively,whichtravelsalongtheinterioroftheexistingpipeline.Theserehabilitationprocessescanbeusedinavarietyofgravityapplicationssuchassanitarysewers,stormsewers,culverts,andprocesspiping.1.1.1Whenusingstationaryinstallationequipmentforexistingpipelines6to48in.,afterinsertion,thespiralwoundlinerpipeisexpandeduntilitpressesagainsttheinteriorsurfaceoftheexistingpipeline.Alternatively,forexistingpipelines6to108in.indiameter,thespiralwoundlinerpipeisinsertedasafixeddiameterintotheexistingpipelineandisnotexpanded,andtheannularspacebetweenthespiralwoundlinerpipeandtheexistingpipeisgrouted.1.1.2Whenusingthetravelinginstallationequipmentforexistingpipelines6to180in.thespiralwoundlinerpipeisinstalledincontactwiththeinteriorsurfaceoftheexistingpipelinetoformaclosefitliner,exceptinthecornersofrectangularpipesorwhereobstructionsoroffsetsoccur.Alternatively,forexistingpipelines6to180in.indiameterandforsimilarsizedexistingnoncircularpipelinessuchasarchedorovalorrectangularshapes,thespiralwoundlinerisinstalledasafixeddiameterintotheexitingpipelinetoformanon-closefitlinerandtheannularspacebetweenthespiralwoundlinerpipeandtheexistingpipeisgrouted.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.3.1Particularattentionisdrawntothosesafetyregulationsandrequirementsinvolvingenteringintoandworkinginconfinedspaces.
