【摘要】:Ultrasonicextractionusingdilutenitricacidisasimplerandeasiermethodforextractingleadfromenvironmentalsamplesthanaretraditionaldigestionmethodsthatemployhotplateormicrowavedigestionwithconcentratedacids(1),(3),(5),(6).Hence,ultrasonicextractionmaybeusedinlieuofthemorerigorousstrongacid/hightemperaturedigestionmethods(forexample,seeRef(1)andTestMethodE1613),providedthattheperformanceisdemonstratedusingacceptedcriteriaasdelineatedinGuideE1775.Incontrastwithhotplateormicrowavedigestiontechniques,ultrasonicextractionisfield-portable,whichallowsforon-sitesampleanalysis.1.1Thispracticecoversanultrasonicextractionprocedurefortheextractionofleadfromenvironmentalsamplesofinterestinleadabatementandrenovation(orrelated)work,foranalyticalpurposes.1.2Environmentalmatricesofconcernincludedrypaintfilms,settleddusts,soils,andairparticulates.1.3Samplessubjectedtoultrasonicextractionarepreparedforsubsequentdeterminationofleadbylaboratoryanalyticalmethods.1.4Thispracticeincludes,whereapplicable,descriptionsofproceduresforsamplehomogenizationandweighingpriortoultrasonicextraction.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.6Thispracticedoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthispracticetoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationpriortouse.
