【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesthemethodforcompactionofcylindricalspecimensofbituminousmixturesusingagyratorycompactor.Suchcompactionisachievedbycombiningarotaryshearingactionandaverticalresultantforceappliedbyamechanicalhead.Themethodisusedfor:a)determinationoftheairvoidscontentofamixtureforagivennumberofgyrationsorderivationofacurvedensity(orvoidcontent)versusnumberofgyrations;b)preparationofspecimensofgivenheightand/oratapredetermineddensity,forsubsequenttestingoftheirmechanicalproperties.TheequipmentusedforthemethodneedstocomplywithAnnexA,AnnexBorAnnexC.NOTEAnnexAisespeciallysuitableforvoidcontentevaluationandcompactionresearchandAnnexBandAnnexCforthepreparationofspecimensformechanicaltesting.ThisEuropeanStandardappliestobituminousmixtures(boththosemadeupinlaboratoryandthoseresultingfromworksitesampling),withanupperaggregatesizenotlargerthan31,5mm.
