【摘要】:Subjectiveevaluationsofcopiesmadefromtestoriginalscanbeusedtodeterminetheusefulnessofagivencopysysteminaspecificuserapplication.Sincemanyvariablesoperatetoaffectthecopyqualityatanygiventime,smallchangesinqualitymaynothaveanypracticalsignificanceformanyusers.1.1Thispracticeguidestheusertowardpreparinganoriginaltestsubject,meaningfultohisspecificcopyingneedsandtosuggestwaysinwhichthetestsubjectmaybeusedtoevaluateimagesfromofficecopysystems.1.2AdditionalevaluationofimagecharacteristicsarecoveredinPracticeF807andTestMethodF875.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
